The Old Vicarage is a characterful property at the bottom of Catbells, nestled in the unspoilt Newlands Valley, with amazing views of the surrounding fells. The property, 15 minutes’ drive from Keswick, is in the hamlet of Littletown, the setting for Beatrix Potter’s “The Tale of Mrs Tiggy-winkle”.

BBQ + Outdoor Dining Area
Downstairs there is a spacious kitchen with a dining table and a log burner, with views up to Catbells and Hindscarth. A hallway leads to a large sitting room with another log burner, TV, plenty of seating and views towards Skiddaw and Causey Pike. There is a downstairs loo and drying space for boots, jackets and rucksacks, plus a washing machine.
Upstairs, there are 2 cosy bedrooms, one with a king size bed and the other with twin beds. The large family bathroom has a bath and a separate shower, the second bathroom has a small shower.
From the garden there are panoramic views across the Newlands Valley. Outdoor table and chairs for guest use and a Weber charcoal BBQ (please bring your own charcoal!).
The age of the property means it has uneven floors and three slate steps between the hall and kitchen.
