This stunning, listed Lake District property that houses 3 bedrooms dates back to 1647. This house is bursting with character that cannot be compared to other properties in the area; with its own private riverside garden, it may just be the perfect place for a country get away.
Amateur and professional cooks alike will fall in love with the well-equipped kitchen, perfect for cooking up a special meal or simply making your sandwiches to enjoy on the hills. Meals can be enjoyed on the grand antique oak dining table, which fits in perfectly with this property and its history.
After dinner, retire for the evening on the comfy sofas and get cosy in front of the log burning stove.
The three north-facing bedrooms can be found off the characterful landing. The first bedroom boasts a super-king size bed and its own en-suite shower room. The second room has two single beds, and finally, the family room hosts a super-king size bed and bunkbed for younger guests (under 12 years).
Each room is beautifully decorated with exceptionally comfortable beds to ensure you have a blissful night’s sleep. There is also a lovely family bathroom on this floor, where you can soak those tired legs.
